HANKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Damage to a Richland County church that was vandalized the night before Easter is estimated at about $12,000.
Sheriff Larry Leshovsky (luh-SHEV’-skee) says it appears the vandals used a baseball bat to smash half a dozen windows at the century-old St. John's Lutheran Church near Hankinson.
About 60 people belong to the church. Sunday morning Easter services were held as planned.
