Fifty mailboxes vandalized

SAWYER, N.D. (AP) — The Ward County Sheriff’s Department is investigating mailbox vandalism in the Sawyer area, along with a store burglary.

Authorities said about 50 mailboxes were damaged or destroyed overnight. The Sawyer grocery store also was broken into. The department did not say what was taken.
