Arndt, an offensive tackle from LaMoure, had drawn interest from a handful of teams in the league, but did not hear his named called during the final four rounds on Saturday.

Normally after the draft is complete, NFL teams sign several undrafted players, but due to the NFL lockout, that is currently prohibited.

Arndt started 28 games at offensive tackle. Being drafted was a long shot, but the 6-foot-6, 315-pound Arndt had contact with a handful of teams prior to the draft.

Arndt was a 3-time all-state performer for the Loboes in football and also starred in basketball.
