Gjerding to celebrate 90th

Ivan Gjerding, Marion, N.D., will be honored on his 90th birthday at an open house from 9 to 11 a.m. May 12 at the Marion Cafe. No gifts requested.

He and his wife, Irene, have five children, Karen (Jim) Larson, Overland Park, Kan., Colleen (Tom) Perius, Dilworth, Minn., Bonnie (Paul) Henningsen, Baxter, Minn., Becky (Byron) Knudsen, Marion, and Kaare (Sandy) Gjerding, Grand Forks, N.D.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
