Grafton man charged in attempted murder
A Grafton man was charged with attempting to murder his wife on Friday. Frank L. Aasand, 61, was arrested after police responded to an early morning 911 call from his home and found his wife, Victoria, had sustained numerous head injuries.By: Forum Communications Co. Report, The Jamestown Sun
A Grafton man was charged with attempting to murder his wife on Friday.
Frank L. Aasand, 61, was arrested after police responded to an early morning 911 call from his home and found his wife, Victoria, had sustained numerous head injuries. She was taken to Unity Medical Center in Grafton and was later transferred to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
Aasand was arrested at the scene without incident. He is being held in the Walsh County Law Enforcement Center. A bail hearing is expected to be held once he retains an attorney.
