VC airport getting concrete runway
The airport in Valley City is getting a concrete runway.
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) — The airport in Valley City is getting a concrete runway.
The Times-Record reports that the $2.4 million project will replace a 31-year-old asphalt runway at the Barnes County Municipal Airport. Work is to begin next Monday and wrap up this summer.
The newspaper says the airport will become only the fourth of the state’s 81 smaller airports to have a concrete runway.
