Text clears N.D. labor hall

A union hall in Bismarck was evacuated and searched after a text message referred to blowing up a ceremony for apprentice electricians.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A union hall in Bismarck was evacuated and searched after a text message referred to blowing up a ceremony for apprentice electricians.

Police Sgt. Mark Buschena said the text was sent from one apprentice to another Thursday evening. Buschena told the Bismarck Tribune that the man who sent the text was questioned and released because it appears the message was an inappropriate comment and not a real threat.

The case remains under investigation.
