Boats vandalized at local marina

The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report of two boats vandalized at the Marina at Jamestown Reservoir Wednesday.

The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report of two boats vandalized at the Marina at Jamestown Reservoir Wednesday.

Sgt. Jason Falk said about $2,000 in damage was caused to the pontoon and other boat sometime Wednesday evening. Officials found the pontoon around 6:30 a.m. Thursday floating against the rocks at the reservoir, causing more damage. The boat was on a trailer parked in the area.

The Marina is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Department at 252-9000.
