FARGO (AP) — The city of Fargo is using an interactive website to give residents a voice in what the city’s future should look like.
The Forum newspaper reports that the new kind of town hall meeting is part of a yearlong overhaul of Fargo’s comprehensive plan. The document works as a blueprint for future decision-makers.
The website has generated more than 70 ideas so far. They range from a manmade swimming lake along the Red River to a yearly festival marking an historic fire in 1893.
The site will continue taking comments through June.
