BISMARCK (AP) — Authorities said Tuesday they had recovered a second body from Apple Creek where two men disappeared when their canoe capsized.
High water since the May 6 accident complicated the search for 23-year-old Cory Berger and 24-year-old James Hellman, both of Bismarck.
One body was found Monday morning about 100 yards from a dam.
Burleigh County Sheriff’s Major Kelly Leben told the Bismarck Tribune that the second body was found in about the same area around 7 a.m. Tuesday.
