Missouri River flooding trails in Bismarck

High Missouri River levels are flooding biking and hiking paths in Bismarck.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — High Missouri River levels are flooding biking and hiking paths in Bismarck.

Bismarck Parks and Recreation operations manager Greg Smith says some trails are closed due to flooding.

Smith tells KXMB-TV that more than a foot of water is covering some low lying areas on the trails. He says it's only going to get worse as more water is released from Garrison Dam.

Smith says some trails will remain closed through the summer.
