BISMARCK (AP) — A Fort Yates woman has been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly stabbing a man in the head.

The Bismarck Tribune reported that 47-year-old Marvine Dupris was convicted in 2008 of stabbing the same man in the neck.

A judge on Friday set bond for Dupris at $20,000 cash.

Police said officers were called to a residence at a Bismarck mobile home court Thursday for a report of a stabbing. The 43-year-old Fort Yates man said Dupris is his girlfriend and had stabbed him in the head during an argument. He was treated at a hospital for a 1-inch cut on his head.

Dupris was convicted three years ago of aggravated assault for stabbing the same man. She was given credit for 34 days served in that case.
