Diocese to open chapel near N.D. abortion clinic

The Catholic bishop in Fargo has commissioned the diocese to open a chapel near North Dakota's only abortion clinic in Fargo.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The Catholic bishop in Fargo has commissioned the diocese to open a chapel near North Dakota's only abortion clinic in Fargo.

Diocese spokeswoman Tanya Watterud tells KFGO radio that the chapel will be open on days when abortions are performed at the clinic.

She said the chapel will open June 1 and its costs are being covered by donations.
