Body found near McElroy Park

The body of an 18-year-old Jamestown man was found Monday night in southeast Jamestown, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The body of an 18-year-old Jamestown man was found Monday night in southeast Jamestown, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Police said the man died Monday of a self-inflicted injury. An acquaintance of the man reported finding the body just before 9 p.m. near the All Veterans Memorial Bridge on the south end of McElroy Park.
