Stark leads Okla. Chr. to NAIA golf title

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oscar Stark of Oklahoma Christian was the only player to finish under par, leading the Eagles to the NAIA men’s golf national championship Friday.
Stark finished the tournament at 4-under 280 to beat teammate Axel Ochoa by five strokes. Stark is the first Oklahoma Christian player to claim the individual title.
Oklahoma Christian led wire to wire at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., for its second team championship in the three years. The Eagles won by 22 strokes over British Columbia. South Carolina-Beaufort was third.
