ND county may take over small town's policing
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The Divide County Sheriff's Office might be providing law enforcement coverage in Crosby.

The Williston Herald reports that city and county officials are mulling the idea.
Crosby Mayor Les Bakken says the City Commission will vote on the plan on June 6.
The Crosby Police Department now consists solely of Chief Joseph Osvold, who plans on retiring in September.
