WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — A new museum featuring antique John Deere tractors and memorabilia opened over the weekend in Fairmount.
The Wahpeton Daily News reported that eight restored tractors are on display at Charlie’s Green Acres Museum.
Museum owner Charlie Hardie said the tractors are more than 50 years old and they are all two-cylinder models.
Hardie said the tractors were used at his farm. He said the machines had been in storage for more than 20 years before he restored them.
Hardie said he hopes the museum will be a draw to people who love old tractors and youngsters who want to learn about John Deere history.
