Grahams Island access road temporarily closed
Authorities have temporarily closed the only access road leading to Grahams Island State Park on the flooded Devils Lake.
DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have temporarily closed the only access road leading to Grahams Island State Park on the flooded Devils Lake.
Ramsey County Sheriff Steve Nelson tells KZZY radio that waves driven by strong winds are depositing more debris on the road than crews can keep up with, and the road isn't safe for travel.
Nelson says the road isn't likely to reopen until Wednesday.
