Overnight storm causes damage in Emmons County
Residents in Emmons County reported downed trees and power lines and damaged structures from an overnight storm.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Residents in Emmons County reported downed trees and power lines and damaged structures from an overnight storm.
KSJB radio reported Friday that officials are trying to determine if the damage was from straight-line winds or a tornado. There have been no reports of injuries.
Rural mailer carrier Ronny Eberle (EE’-bur-lee) says he noticed one barn that was crushed and extensive damage to a grain bin at the elevator in Kintyre.
Kintyre is about 50 miles southeast of Bismarck.
