ND Highway Patrol trooper hit, injured
A North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper was treated at a hospital after his car was hit by a suspected drunken driver.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper was treated at a hospital after his car was hit by a suspected drunken driver.
The agency says Trooper Luke Hendrickson was stopped for a red light at a Cass County intersection about 6 p.m. Wednesday when he was rear-ended by a sport utility vehicle.
The Forum newspaper reports that Hendrickson was treated at the hospital for unspecified injuries and released. The 53-year-old SUV driver was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
