UND women joining WAC
GRAND FORKS (AP) — The University of North Dakota women’s swimming and diving team has been accepted into the Western Athletic Conference.
GRAND FORKS (AP) — The University of North Dakota women’s swimming and diving team has been accepted into the Western Athletic Conference.
UND will become an affiliate member starting with the 2011-12 season. The school says its men’s swimming and diving team will continue competing in the Conference USA Championship as an invitee.
Most UND teams, including basketball and football, play in the Great West Conference. The hockey teams play in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
