Man admits to crashing into center
Authorities said a 24-year-old man from Mooreton turned himself in to authorities for a vehicle crash that damaged the town’s community center.
WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — Authorities said a 24-year-old man from Mooreton turned himself in to authorities for a vehicle crash that damaged the town’s community center.
KFGO radio reported that Jonathon Strege told Richland County deputies he lost control of his pickup early Saturday morning and slammed into the building. Strege left the scene.
Charges are pending.
Mooreton is located west of Wahpeton.
