The Jamestown Sun hands out these bravos this week: * Bravo to John Zvirovski, who was awarded the first Advanced Master Gardener certificate given in North Dakota. Zvirovski, a master gardener, was recognized for his public service, including being involved with numerous garden organizations, writing a gardening column for The Jamestown Sun and donating more than 225 hours to benefit others in areas of gardening.

* Bravo to the 42nd Fort Seward Wagon Train. About 100 participants on the wagon train come together for a trip back in time. This year’s wagon train headed to Woodworth.
* Bravo to Camp Invention, a weeklong camp at Jamestown High School for students in grades 1-5 that strives to generate interest in technology, science and math. Hands-on activities such as experiments, tearing apart electronics and using the pieces to build a machine and decoding messages make learning interactive and fun. The program has grown from 30 participants four years ago to 56 this year.
* Bravo to Woodworth and Monango, which are holding celebrations this weekend. Woodworth is celebrating 100 years; Monango, 125.
* Bravo to Twilla Glinz, 85-year-old Bottineau, N.D., resident who has worked to preserve the history of Bottineau. Glinz is the curator of the Bottineau County Historical Museum and president of the Bottineau County historical Society.
