GF County farmhouse explodes

A Grand Forks County farmhouse was destroyed by an explosion Monday evening, a witness has told the Grand Forks Herald.

A Grand Forks County farmhouse was destroyed by an explosion Monday evening, a witness has told the Grand Forks Herald.

The farmhouse is located 8 miles north and two miles west of Larimore, N.D., or about two miles east of McAnna, N.D.

A neighbor told the Herald that his wife heard the explosion and when they drove over to the house, basically nothing was left standing and rubble was spread across the yard. He told the Herald emergency personnel were on the scene.

The Grand Forks Herald is owned by Forum Communications Co.
