LARIMORE, N.D. (AP) — Three people were taken to a Grand Forks hospital after a rural Larimore house exploded. The cause of the blast was not immediately determined.

The Grand Forks County Sheriff's Department did not release the conditions of the adult man, adult woman and a third person who were hurt in the Monday night blast.

A nursing supervisor told the Grand Forks Herald that the man was in serious condition in the intensive care unit. Conditions of the other two weren't available.

Sheriff's Department investigator Steve Hamre (HAM’-ree) says the two-story wood frame farmhouse was destroyed. The Herald says debris was spread as far as 40 yards away.
