"These brave men and women have answered the call of duty and made tremendous sacrifices for our nation. As they come home from war, we must do all we can to ensure that they receive the support they need and deserve. That includes offering activities for service members and their families as they heal the wounds of war," Conrad said.
The servicemen in the inaugural tour were U.S. Marines. They included: Sgt. William Mackenzie of Amityville, N.Y., Sgt. Omar Jackson of Atlanta, Ga., Lance Cpl. Nicholas Green of Media, Pa., Lance. Cpl. Jonathan Oliveira of Newark, N.J., and Lance Cpl. Mark Haegele of Bismarck, N.D.
