The body of a McVille, N.D., man missing since last week was recovered Tuesday night from the small man-made lake on the east side of the city known as the McVille Dam.

According to a news release Wednesday from Nelson County Sheriff Kelly Janke, the body of Ronald Wayne Larson, who was 56, was found about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Larson last was seen Saturday.

No foul play is suspected, but an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

Larson grew up in McVille and worked several years at a local grain elevator, say those who knew him. In recent years, he had worked for a local farmer.

The Dam is a small lake created decades ago by building the dam in a coulee. It is used mostly for fishing and swimming.
