Fargo woman sentenced on drug charge
U.S. Attorney Timothy Q. Purdon announced that on July 14, Christine Anne Holtz of Fargo, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Ralph R. Erickson on a charge of distribution of a controlled substance.
U.S. Attorney Timothy Q. Purdon announced that on July 14, Christine Anne Holtz of Fargo, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Ralph R. Erickson on a charge of distribution of a controlled substance.
Holtz, 29, pleaded guilty on May 2 to selling two bags of marijuana at a
hotel on the Spirit Lake Indian Reservation in October of 2010. The total weight of the two bags of marijuana was 12.64 grams.
Erickson sentenced Holtz to two years probation. Holtz was also ordered to
pay a $100 special assessment to the Crime Victim's Fund.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Indian Affairs Law Enforcement and North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Janice M. Morley prosecuted the case.
