FCUCC ladies plan booth for festival
The ladies of First Congregational United Church of Christ, 201 Second St. S.E., will celebrate along with Jamestown at the Downtown Street Festival, (formerly Crazy Days).
The ladies of First Congregational United Church of Christ, 201 Second St. S.E., will celebrate along with Jamestown at the Downtown Street Festival, (formerly Crazy Days). July 22. Beginning at 9 a.m., people can stop in for caramel rolls and a beverage while taking in the sights on First Avenue, then return at lunch time for barbecue and homemade dessert. The food will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Proceeds from the day will help pay for the new roof, which was completed this spring. The church is located just one block east of First Avenue, across from the U.S. Bank parking lot.
