N.D. man pleads guilty to sex abuse
A 22-year-old North Dakota man faces 15 years in prison for sexually abusing a minor.
BISMARCK (AP) — A 22-year-old North Dakota man faces 15 years in prison for sexually abusing a minor.
U.S. Attorney Timothy Q. Purdon announced Wednesday that Richard C. Black Cloud, of Cannon Ball, N.D., pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to engaging in a sexual act with a juvenile between May 2009 and August 2009 on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.
Black Cloud’s sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 27 in U.S. District Court in Bismarck
The maximum penalty for the charge is 15 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
