Flags to fly at half-staff in honor of Stenehjem

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Government agencies will lower their flags to half-staff Monday in honor of North Dakota Senate Republican majority leader Bob Stenehjem.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Government agencies will lower their flags to half-staff Monday in honor of North Dakota Senate Republican majority leader Bob Stenehjem.

The 59-year-old Stenehjem was killed earlier this week in a traffic accident in Alaska. Funeral services are scheduled Monday in Bismarck.

Gov. Jack Dalyrmple is directing all state government agencies to fly the American and North Dakota flags at half-staff from sunrise to sunset.

The funeral is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Monday on the fourth floor of Bismarck State College's National Energy Center of Excellence.
