Montpelier 125th Celebration features 8 a.m. 5K run, 9 a.m. craft and souvenir sales, 11 a.m. parade followed by Western shootout skit, 1 p.m. classic car show, Redneck Olympics and open tractor pull, 3-5 p.m. Spiritwood Creek performs, 5 p.m. rodeo, 9 p.m. street dance.
Grillout to benefit James River Humane Society, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., First Community Credit Union, 111 Ninth St. S.W. Meals with hamburgers, hotdogs or brats with chips and pop will cost $3.50.
