Sue Damour, from the U.S. General Services Administration, will be in Jamestown at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Babb’s Coffee House.

Damour wants to meet with people to get feedback on how the efforts of GSA and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act have affected the area.

She describes the meeting as “a chance to hear what has gone well and what programs and resources can be improved. Are there government rules and regulations that impede the growth of the economy? Can we make doing business with the federal government easier and more streamlined? Do citizens know how to get the information they need from federal programs? — these issues don’t’ have to be related just to the GSA but to people’s dealings with the federal government in general.”

She wants people to comment on what they’re concerned about presently — economic and job concerns, cost of gas, health care, food and renewable re-sources in the region.

The public is welcome to share coffee, cookies and their opinions, and ask questions.
