Anne Carlsen Center’s 29th Annual Golf Tournament will be restricted to two 9-hole rounds of play on Aug. 5 at Jamestown Country Club because of lingering water issues on the course.
The tournament will consist of two categories: scratch and handicap. A social will be held Aug. 4 from 5:30-8 p.m. for players, sponsors and families.
The event is the longest running charity golf tournament in the state.
A $40,000 hole-in-one contest is planned, plus a $25,000 putting contest. Other games and raffles will be held.
Money raised by the tournament helps support about 25 teens and their trip to Elks Camp Grassic near Dawson, N.D., during TechnoCamp.
