GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — National Guard soldiers and airmen from units across the state will compete to prove who are the top shots.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that nine teams will participate in the North Dakota Adjutant General Combat Marksmanship Match. It's slated to be held at Camp Grafton Training Center near Devils Lake on Friday through Sunday.
Participants will compete in a variety of shooting events. They will fire at electronic and pop-up targets with pistols and rifles from distances of up to 300 meters.
The top 12 shooters will advance to the regional competition in Wyoming next month.
