Teresa Greywind

Teresa D. Greywind, 53, Sheyenne, N.D., died Thursday, July 28, 2011, at her home after a battle with cancer.

Teresa Darlene Gahner was born July 21, 1958, in Jamestown, the daughter of Herbert and Donna (Docker) Gahner. In 1965, she moved with her parents to Fargo where she attended school. She married Edward Greywind on April 9, 1975, at Jamestown. They lived in Fargo and she worked for Minnkota Windows for several years. In 2004, they moved to Tokio, N.D., and in 2010, the couple moved to Sheyenne. She worked for Sioux Manufacturing. She enjoyed doing word puzzles and going to pow-wows and the casino.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, John, Bismarck, and Joe (Norberta) and Shane, both Tokio; two sisters, Gale Aakerson and Pamela Brown, both Fargo; two brothers, Douglas (Sharla) and Conrad (Autumn), both Fargo; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert; a sister, Wanda Gahner; and two grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, First Lutheran Church, Sheyenne, with the Rev. Natasha Woitzel-Kolles officiating.

Prayer service: 8 p.m. Monday at the church.

Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday, at the church. Arrangements by Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake, N.D.

Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Sheyenne.
