JFD responds to home with basement filled with smoke

The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a Jamestown home where the basement was filling with smoke Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters were dispacted to the northeast Jamestown home at about 1:50 p.m., according to scanner reports. All the people in the home were reported to have evacuated safely.
