PORTAL, N.D. (AP) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection says Canadian Highway 39 has been reopened to all traffic from Estevan, Saskatchewan, to the U.S. port of entry at Portal.

The road had been closed since early summer because of repairs to a bridge made necessary by Souris River flooding.
