GARRISON, N.D. (AP) — The annual CANDISC bike tour starts wheeling its way through central North Dakota this weekend.
CANDISC stands for Cycling Around North Dakota In Sakakawea Country. The tour draws hundreds of riders from numerous states and Canadian provinces each year.
This year's ride starts Saturday at Fort Stevenson State Park. The 389-mile route winds down to Strasburg and back again, with the tour ending back at the park near Garrison on Aug. 13.
