2,200 tundra swan licenses available in ND

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A total of 2,200 licenses are being made available for this year's tundra swan hunting season in North Dakota, the same as last year.

North Dakota residents and out-of-state hunters can apply. The deadline is Aug. 17. More information can be found at the state Game and Fish Department website, at http://www.gf.nd.gov .

The statewide swan season is Oct. 1 through next Jan. 1.
