A flood recovery conference is scheduled Aug. 31 in Bismarck.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A flood recovery conference is scheduled Aug. 31 in Bismarck.
The event will feature speakers from cities around the region that have dealt with flooding issues, including Fargo; Grand Forks; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Des Moines, Iowa. Federal and state leaders are expected to attend.
Bismarck-Mandan Chamber President Kevin Hullet says he hopes the conference will help communities deal with the aftermath of flooding and uncover ways to minimize recovery time.
