Sentencing set for ND man accused of burglary

Sentencing has been scheduled for a North Dakota man indicted in federal court on burglary and weapons charges.

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Sentencing has been scheduled for a North Dakota man indicted in federal court on burglary and weapons charges.

Authorities accuse Troy Yazzie Jr. of entering a home in New Town in April 2010 without permission, waking up a man and pointing a pistol at his head to scare him.

Yazzie pleaded guilty earlier to burglary and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.

He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison. Sentencing is set for Aug. 29.
