Air Force crew sprays for bugs in Grand Forks area

An Ohio-based Air Force squadron is in the Grand Forks area this week, spraying mosquitoes.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — An Ohio-based Air Force squadron is in the Grand Forks area this week, spraying mosquitoes.

The airmen use a C-130 cargo plane and fly at low levels, spraying for the bugs. The crew has been in North Dakota numerous times in recent years.

Spraying will be done this week at Grand Forks Air Force Base, and possibly in the Grand Forks-East Grand Forks area.
