Spitzers to celebrate 50th anniversary

Selmer and Phyllis Spitzer, Dawson, N.D., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. on Nov. 5, at Valley Presbyterian Church in Mesquite, Nev. The event will be hosted by their children. No gifts requested.

Selmer Spitzer and Phyllis Mockel were married Aug. 20, 1961, at, Williston, N.D.

They have three children, Deborah (Richard) Hearrell, Apple Valley, Calif., Roberta (David) Harris, Highland, Utah, and Cameron (Marcie), San Jacinto, Calif.; and seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
