GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Two people hurt in a fatal home explosion in northeastern North Dakota are recovering now in Nebraska, after first being taken to a Twin Cities-area facility in Minnesota following the late June blast.

Family members tell WDAZ-TV that 23-year-old Justin McMahon was undergoing his 14th surgery on his legs on Wednesday and hoped to be released from the hospital in about three weeks. Twenty-two-year-old Danielle Bissel has been released from the hospital and moved to a long-term rehabilitation facility near family in Nebraska.

The explosion sparked by a propane link killed Bissel's 6-month-old daughter, Samantha, and leveled the couple's home.
