Suicide prevention walk set in LaMoure

A group of citizens in LaMoure County wanted to bring about education and awareness regarding suicide prevention. The La-Moure County Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention will host its first walk in September. Organizers hope it will be an annual event.
The 2011 Out of the Darkness Walk is scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 18 in the town of LaMoure.
Registration will be set up at the LaMoure Civic Center from 1 to 2 p.m.
