GRAND FORKS (AP) — The Sioux Shop in Engelstad Arena is holding a “fire sale” on Thursday and Friday.
GRAND FORKS (AP) — The Sioux Shop in Engelstad Arena is holding a “fire sale” on Thursday and Friday.
The Grand Forks Herald reported that the store that sells merchandise for the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux athletic teams is offering at a 40 percent discount all of the items that survived a July 3 fire in the arena. They’re considered lightly damaged but officials say most items have no visible damage.
Doors open at noon in the adjacent Betty Engelstad Sioux Center both days of the sale.
The fire that filled much of Engelstad Arena with smoke and temporarily shut down the Sioux Shop began in a cluster of speakers over center ice.
