A former Dickinson High School student is accused of posting threatening messages on the Facebook social networking website.

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — A former Dickinson High School student is accused of posting threatening messages on the Facebook social networking website.

The Dickinson Press reports that 26-year-old Joshua Keller was arrested on a terrorizing charge after allegedly posting a message about having a gun and making references to school shootings in other parts of the country.

Police Capt. Dustin Dassinger says he does not believe Keller intended to act on his alleged threats.

It was not immediately clear if Keller had an attorney. A telephone listing for him in Dickinson could not be found.
