Former UND running back Murray now at Mary

The most productive running back for the University of North Dakota last season will play for the University of Mary this fall. UND coach Chris Mussman dismissed Josh Murray over the winter for violating team rules. Murray has since transferred to the University of Mary in Bismarck. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

BISMARCK (AP) — The most productive running back for the University of North Dakota last season will play for the University of Mary this fall.

UND coach Chris Mussman dismissed Josh Murray over the winter for violating team rules. Murray has since transferred to the University of Mary in Bismarck. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

Murray rushed for 670 yards and four touchdowns as a junior last season. The Pepin, Wis., native was academically ineligible his sophomore season. During his freshman year, Murray led UND with 1,146 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns.
