Blood drive collects 75 units
Blood drive coordinator Donna Gullickson and Trinity Lutheran Church have sponsored a blood drive to benefit United Blood Services. The drive held on Aug. 10 saw 75 people volunteer to donate blood and 65 able to give.
Blood drive coordinator Donna Gullickson and Trinity Lutheran Church have sponsored a blood drive to benefit United Blood Services. The drive held on Aug. 10 saw 75 people volunteer to donate blood and 65 able to give. Twelve people gave blood on the automated 2RBC machine which collects two units of red blood cells during the donation, so a total of 78 products were collected. Two people gave blood for the first time.
Trinity Lutheran Church was also responsible for registering donors and providing refreshments. Others who assisted were Grace Vannett, Bonnie Reickson, Lori Schuchard, Ruby Iszler and Ardell Quigley.
